Choose a paddle board by your weight first. Riders up to 150 lb (68 kg) do well on a compact board around 10'6"–10'7"; riders 150–200 lb (68–91 kg) fit best on an 11' all-round board; riders 200–250 lb (91–113 kg) should step up to an 11' super-wide or 12' board; and riders over 250 lb (113 kg) — or anyone paddling with a child, a dog or camping gear — should choose a 12'–13' board. Thickness matters as much as length: a full 6-inch-thick inflatable with a triple-layer drop-stitch core is roughly 60% stiffer than standard 4.7-inch boards, so it stays rigid under heavier loads. What size paddle board do I need for a 200 lb rider?
At 200 lb (91 kg), choose an 11' super-wide board rated to 375 lb — like the Majesty or Inked 11′ — or a 12' board such as the Tulum 12′ XL (380 lb) or Elite 12′ XXL (400 lb). That capacity margin keeps the board rigid and stable with gear, a cooler or a dog on deck.
How much weight can a WINGOMART paddle board hold?

Is a longer paddle board more stable?
Not by itself — day-to-day stability comes mostly from width, thickness and volume. Length adds glide and straighter tracking, which is why touring paddlers go 12'–13'. A heavier rider gets stability from both: more length and more volume together.
Should a beginner size up or down?
